Futureproofing your Innovation
Is your innovation in step with corporate users' future needs?
The Internet has transformed the corporations of old into ubiquitous, interconnected and borderless entities enabling unprecedented opportunities on a worldwide scale. However, the very infrastructure that promises so much also presents a multitude of threats.
In a bid to help global IT security suppliers futureproof their products in a de-perimeterised Internet-based business environment, Chief Information Security Oficers in major global corporations in 2006 set up the Jericho Forum. This body encourages large security suppliers to interoperate through relevant standards and protocols; to enable their products to work outside the firewall, and to stem the proliferation of “me-too” products that do not.
UKII has taken these core demands from IT users on major IT security suppliers and summarised them for innovators and early stage researchers in IT security coming through.
